Though I am usually just known as Grace, the name Kalmia Creations was established in 2024 as a solution to my search for an all-encompassing name to display my photography and also not limiting myself to sharing other things I create. I have been taking photos for a while but am new to the world of sharing my other forms of art. The mountain laurel (Kalmia latifolia) is the state flower of Pennsylvania (my home state). Latin for the genus of the laurel family, I landed on Kalmia as the leading name of this passion project platform after a plant that has filled me with inspiration and wonder over the years.
